Recently, Dublin was selected as the host location for the IxDA Interaction 12 conference. I had a very busy summer working the proposal with IADT, the Dublin Convention Bureau and IxDA Dublin. I took the lead on researching the design scene in Dublin.
During this process I discovered that the design scene in Dublin (and Ireland) is even more active, vibrant and vast, than I had previously thought (even though I was impressed in the first place). However, I also discovered an evident lack of information online about the Dublin design scene in general.
In the near future, IxDA Dublin intend to publish the Design Directory I created as a resource for all. In the meantime, I will begin sharing parts of the directory here on the Graphic Mind blog. To get the ball rolling, here is an unofficial list of Design Organisations based in Ireland, in no particular order.
