UX Designer

Graphic Mint require a UX Designer to join our studio team. We are a User Experience Design and Innovation agency and work with range of digital applications, systems and software. We follow a highly collaborative, user-centred design process and require all our staff to share our passion for the experience of the end-user.

The Designer must support our existing design team with an agile and fast-paced approach to all projects. The successful candidate will be confident communicating complex designs to stakeholders, visually and orally, at all stages of internal and client projects. Meticulous project management skills and focus on deliverables is essential.

Work samples on at least 3 previous industry standard projects are required, demonstrating a proven ability to identify and solve user experience issues and conduct user research. A strong aptitude for low and high fidelity prototyping is required and experience with custom applications is a strong advantage.

Visual Designer

Graphic Mint require a Visual Designer with a flair for User Interface Design, Visual Storytelling and Digital Marketing to join our studio team. At Graphic Mint, Visual Designers apply and combine best practices of colour, typography, layouts, iconography and motion to help our users successfully experience and navigate our client’s products and services. We believe that user experiences should be accessible, beautiful and meaningful.

As a Visual Designer, you’ll delight users with designs that inspire, engage and excite them. You’ll rely on user-centered design principles to produce high-quality visuals, from concept to execution, across many platforms.

Like all of our User Experience (UX) jobs, you’ll collaborate with your fellow researchers and designers to constantly refine the design languages of Graphic Mint and our clients and create innovative, great-looking digital products that people love to use.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in a related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing outstanding web-based products for a consumer-oriented website.
  • Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android and iOS.
  • Proven ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
  • Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
  • Working knowledge of online platforms and be confident in creating relevant, interesting content.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress, HTML and CSS.

Content Designer & Strategist

The Content Designer & Strategist is responsible for driving and managing the Content Department. Responsibilities include partnering with clients, senior staff, designers, product managers and product marketers to plan and create the content for Graphic Mint’s internal and Client products and services.

It also includes continually improving that content and evolving these in terms of voice, tone and content standards. Bears responsibility for creating and managing a content schedule, providing inspiring information for our customers and community, writing website content, blogs, press releases, metrics reports and social media updates.

The Content Designer & Strategist will need to be a design enthusiast aware of industry events. They will need to have a strong understanding of how to utilise engaging and compelling content throughout a design company ecosystem.

Web / Mobile Developer

Graphic Mint require a Web / Mobile Developer with at least 2—3 years industry experience to join our studio team. We are a User Experience Design and Innovation agency and work with a range of digital applications, systems and software. We follow a highly collaborative, user-centred design process and require all our staff to share our passion for the experience of the end-user.

The Developer must support our UX, UI and Front End Designers with an agile and fast-paced approach to all projects. The successful candidate will be confident communicating and solving complex problems relating to mobile development. Meticulous project management skills and focus on deliverables for internal and client projects are essential.

Work samples on previous custom mobile and web application development are required. Ability to assume responsibility of basic Front End Development tasks using HTML, CSS and JavaScript libraries is a strong advantage.

Visual Design Intern

Graphic Mint require a Visual Design Intern with a flair for Digital Marketing to join our studio team for a period of 12 weeks. We are a User Experience Design and Innovation agency and offer a rolling internship programme to invest in upcoming creatives at third level.

The Intern will work across a range of junior visual and graphic design projects and learn from industry professionals with over 20 years experience. The successful candidate will benefit from a genuine interest in learning about the context of the end-user.

The Intern must also support our team by creating and delivering successful Social Media and Digital Marketing strategies. He or she must have a working knowledge of online platforms and be confident in creating relevant, interesting content. Basic knowledge of WordPress and HTML is preferred, but not essential.
