On the 28th September, the final class of our Mobile UI Prototyping with Sketch and InVision course took place at The Westin Dublin. Overall, the course was a raving success, it covered some great topics from designing mobile mockups with Sketch to creating interactive prototypes with InVision.
The course was led by Eoghan Hickey, our User Experience Designer, who has spent most of the last few years designing mobile experiences.
During the course, attendees created their very own interactive mobile prototypes and in the final week they submitted these prototypes to vote for the best in the class.
Thanks to our fantastic sponsors Sketch and InVision, the winning prototype would receive a Sketch license and an InVision Pro account for 1-year. We were also delighted to raffle 4 other Sketch licenses to other attendees.
“The InVision & testing aspect helped put things into perspective” – Nerina Hrvacic, AIB
The attendees voted, on the winning prototype and congratulations to the winner Radu Jitea, a Visual Designer at Groupon for his interactive prototype that received the most votes. Well done also to Allison, Thomasina, Marcus and Rob on winning Sketch licenses in the raffle!
We also had some people attend the course remotely by live streaming the classes each week. This worked very well as it also allowed all our attendees to watch back to reference when working on each week’s design challenge.
Feedback from the attendees has been very positive and we look forward to running this course in the future!
